Elle dispose d’un camion laboratoire innovant et multifonctions qui lui permet d’effectuer des diagraphies en temps réel, des perforations, et des opérations de Slickline. Equipé de 3 câbles différents haute température de 6000m chacun (7 conducteurs ; mono conducteur et câble lisse) l’unité laboratoire permet l’acquisition de tous types de mesure en trou ouvert, en trou tubé, ou en puits équipé d’une garniture de production. Our story

PETRO LS was founded in 2009 by Henri DECHELOTTE, who ended his career at Schlumberger as Country Manager and decided to put that experience to work in a project of his own.

With a pragmatic, quality-driven approach, we have built our know-how in well logging by meeting the specific requirements of every client. Since the beginning we have steadily broadened our scope, growing our presence in geothermal energy and new energies. Our path has been shaped by a constant drive to improve our services and stay at the forefront of technology, while maintaining trust and lasting partnerships with our clients.

  • A new head office

    PETRO LS moves to Saucats

    To support the growth of its activities, PETRO LS has moved into new premises in Saucats, between the Landes forest and the Pessac-Léognan vineyards, south of Bordeaux. More spacious and more functional, these facilities offer optimized areas for the preparation, testing and storage of our equipment.

    This step is part of our determination to keep growing while offering our teams a modern working environment suited to the demands of our trade.

    A new momentum

    To preserve the DNA of PETRO LS and the quality of the services it has provided for many years, founder Henri Dechelotte chose, on retiring, to hand the company over to its own team of engineers.

    The company is now led by Eric Chevanne, who brings more than thirty years of experience in industrial company management.

    Delivery of the second logging truck

    As the business grew, a second logging truck became necessary in order to respond faster to our clients’ emergencies, across France and beyond its borders.

    After many months of study and testing, and drawing on his experience on sites all over the world, Henri was able to bring to life his project of a multi-purpose logging truck fitted with a double drum and three cables, one of them a fiber optic cable.

    PETRO LS in Le Barp - Gironde

    To be as close as possible to its operations at the time, PETRO LS moved to Le Barp (33), near Bordeaux. The move was also part of a development strategy geared towards the energy sectors of the future.

    PETRO LOGGING SERVICES

    A former engineer and Country Manager at Schlumberger, Henri Dechelotte decided to put his experience to work in an ambitious project of his own. In 2009 he founded PETRO LS and began offering his services to players in oil production and, more broadly, in the logging of all types of wells.
