Equipé de 3 câbles différents haute température de 6000m chacun (7 conducteurs ; mono conducteur et câble lisse) l’unité laboratoire permet l’acquisition de tous types de mesure en trou ouvert, en trou tubé, ou en puits équipé d’une garniture de production. FIBER OPTICS

We use a 5/16" cable of more than 5,000 m carrying 4 optical fibers (two single-mode and two multi-mode), rated to 150°C.

To guarantee real-time transmission, we rely on state-of-the-art technology. Our Full HD 1080p cameras, purpose-built for downhole environments (up to 150°C), stream live images at 60 frames per second.

This continuous capture allows uninterrupted viewing, giving a high level of precision when analyzing what is observed.

Leak detection with fiber optics

We also use fiber optics as a leak detection tool: the fiber deployed in the well acts as the sensor, allowing the whole well to be measured at once.

Combining several simultaneous recordings strengthens the analysis and gives an in-depth view of the phenomena at work.
Among the technologies we use:

  • Distributed Strain Sensing (DSS)
  • Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS)
  • Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS)

    • These techniques allow fine detection of acoustic and thermal variations in the well.

    Seismic acquisition using fiber optics

    Fiber optics plays a key role in modern logging technologies, in particular for Vertical Seismic Profile (VSP) applications. This method, which measures seismic waves at different depths in a well, is transformed by the use of fiber optics: data can be acquired continuously and over far greater distances than with conventional techniques.

    With fiber optics, seismic waves can be recorded simultaneously along the entire well profile, giving a detailed view of the underlying geological structures. This technology brings considerable benefits for reservoir analysis, the characterization of geological formations, and the detection of faults and fractures.
